Our shopping cart calculates shipping automatically by using the items that you are buying to calculate the shipping cost. If you find the shipping is more than you expected please put a note in the comment box in the payment section and we will recalculate the shipping by hand. If we find that actual shipping is less, we will send you a revised bill.

If the shipping does not appear and an error or time out message appears instead of a shipping price, continue with the order by choosing 'Local Pickup' and make a note in the comment box. We will calculate shipping by hand and send you a revised bill.

Online or faxed orders may be placed anytime and will be processed the next business day if received outside of our business hours.

Product availability
In the event that an item is out of stock we will not substitute one item for another. Instead, we will advise you of the time it will take to have the item available again and let you decide what you would like to do.

Taxes
We must charge GST or HST if you live in Canada.  BC residents also must pay PST, however, if you have a valid BC PST number, let us know at the time of ordering and you wil not be charged PST.

BC residents with a PST number
Once you have used our shopping cart and sent us your PST number, we will add you to our database.  As long as you use the same e-mail address the cart will remember not to charge you PST.

Minimums
We do not have a minimum order, and we do not charge a handling fee.

Payment Options
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Money Orders, E-Mail Money Transfers, cheques, and direct deposits to our bank account.

Our internet web page is secured and we do not store credit card numbers online. But if you prefer, you may call us with your credit card number or fax it to us. We can keep your number on file if you like, and after the first time you order you can just ask us to use the credit card number on file. We never keep your number without your permission. If you are in the US you will get the current exchange rate which your credit card account charges you.

Cheques and Money Orders
You may pay by mail with a cheque or money order but if sending a cheque please be aware that your order will be held until the cheque clears at the bank. Please make cheques and money orders payable to Island Artisan Supply.

PayPal Payments and  E-mail Money Transfers
We now accept Paypal payments, and E-mail money transfers from all participating banks. Please understand that when paying with Paypal you will not automatically be directed to the Paypal site as our site is not linked to theirs. You must go to the PayPal website yourself and enter the information there. You do not have to have a PayPal account in order to do this. Have them send your payment to kjpreston@shaw.ca. Be sure all the information is correct! Once they receive your payment they will notify us and we will then process your order. PLEASE NOTE: Unless you do not mind waiting 2 weeks for your order please do not select E-CHEQUE as your payment method with PayPal as it takes 6 to 8 days to receive the funds and we cannot ship your order until payment has cleared!


NSF checks
Checks returned due to non-sufficient funds will incur a $30.00 processing fee.

We do not ship COD orders.
